My 1st ever post (Update for the 3rd full week of June, that is from Monday 19th till Friday 23rd)
It is with great excitement that I announce the results of my 1st trading day on the stock market.
As an aspiring asset manager,
I opened an account with #CFI to trade exchange traded-Funds (financial instruments that copy the performance of indexes or commodities).
I will be updating the performance of my portfolio on a weekly basis, regardless of results. I am committed to transparency and accountability which are the basis of any trustworthy business relationships.

The positions in the below screenshot are taken as of market closure on Friday 23rd June 2023. On each line, the 1st number is the price at which I bought the asset and the 2nd number is the closing price on Friday 23rd June 2023.
Post #2 (Update for the last week of June)
As promised on my post on Monday 26th June, I will be sharing the results of my investment portfolio. It is actual money and assets traded on the US stock market. It is NOT a simulation.
The 1st numbers on each line is the price I paid to buy the financial asset. The 2nd numbers on each line is the closing price of last Friday (yesterday). Blue is a win, red is a loss.
My floating profit (sum of lines) was $20.99 at the closure of the trading week. (Floating because I did not sell back my assets to realize the profit. It will change day by day, hour by hour)
During the week, my floating profit varied between a loss of 1.5$ and a maximum profit of $24. It varies with change of prices
The capital letters are the tickers of my assets. I will be elaborating what they are in future posts and my website in construction www.alfredacar.com. Feel free to google them and discover what they are.
I am an aspiring asset manager. I will be posting on a weekly basis, regardless of how good or bad & painful the results will be.
I do that 1) to train myself and 2) in public to let you learn with me along the way and 3) build your trust in me.
